Taking the step to start therapy is no small thing, and I’m grateful to be part of your journey.
We’ll begin with a 15-minute phone consultation to talk through your needs and see if we’re a good fit for each other.
If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your first session and you’ll receive an intake packet via email to complete at least 24 hours before our appointment.
Our first session will include a thorough biopsychosocial assessment so I can gain a deeper understanding of your needs. From there, we’ll collaborate on therapy goals and then move into a regular session rhythm together.
-
All sessions are held online through SimplePractice, a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform designed specifically for therapy. You’ll receive a private link to join our video sessions from your computer, tablet, or phone. Telehealth makes it easy to meet consistently, wherever you are in California.

To support consistency in care, we will plan to schedule sessions on a recurring weekly or biweekly basis. This reserves your spot in my calendar. If you ever need to change your recurring time or can’t make your scheduled session, please let me know as soon as possible.
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session will be considered a no-show and the full session fee will apply.
However, if you notify me within 24 hours and request to reschedule during the same week, the late cancellation fee may be waived— if I have availability to accommodate the reschedule. If no time is available, the late cancel fee will apply.
Each client is granted one waived late cancellation per calendar year. This applies only to the first late cancellation. The waiver resets every January.
In the event of an emergency, the late cancellation fee may be waived with appropriate documentation or proof of the emergency (e.g., hospital discharge paperwork, police report, etc.).

You’re welcome to contact me by phone or email outside of session, and I will do my best to respond promptly.
Please note that electronic communication is not recommended for discussing clinical matters, as confidentiality cannot be fully guaranteed. In these cases, I may suggest scheduling a session so we can address the content more appropriately and securely.
If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

Yes, clients are welcome to follow my TikTok account or view any of my public content. However, to protect your privacy and maintain clear professional boundaries, I do not follow clients back or engage with client accounts. This helps ensure that your therapy remains confidential and that our relationship stays focused on your care.
Please keep in mind that social media is not a secure or confidential way to communicate. For your privacy, I will not discuss clinical matters, respond to therapy-related questions, or provide direct support through social media platforms. If you comment on or interact with my posts, other people may be able to see that activity.
If you would like to share something from social media in session, you are always welcome to bring it up during our time together. For scheduling or therapy-related needs, please reach out to me directly by phone or email rather than through social media.
Let’s work together.
